Bored of making the “same old, same old” for family dinner night?

Scared to try something new because maybe the whole family won’t like it?

Want to make a meal where you can have an easy grab-n-go snack option?

Perfect!

You came to the right place today.

Turkey balls are one versatile recipe you can:

  • Make as an entire meal filled with vegetables, carbohydrate choice and side salad
  • Have as family spaghetti dinner night
  • Enjoy a candle light dinner with your significant other
  • Grab-it and go for an on-the-go snack choice
  • Bring to a friends house and dip into your favorite sauce for an easy-peasy Appetizer idea.

Step One:

Lay out all your ingredients. Wash vegetables and herbs.

Side Note: Fresh herbs have so so so much more flavor then dried herbs. Pick-up some locally grown herbs at your nearest grocery store, or farmers market/stand during season. Save your money and buy locally grown instead of organic :).

*I purchased my ground turkey, eggs, and minced Garlic from Costco.

*Herbs and vegetables are from Meijer grocery stores in the Midwest area.

Step Two:

Add ALL chopped vegetables into large bowl.

Then, add your meat 2-whole eggs (need yolk to help bind all ingredients together) + minced Garlic.

Step Three: Spice It Up Right

Whether you’re looking for mild or spicy use Mrs. Dash seasoning. My favorites are Italian Medley or Spicy Jalapeño, when working with ground turkey.

Step Four: Roll into balls and place on pan.

Step Five: Wait 30-35 minutes and EAT!!

Final Product:

I trained heavy that day, so I went for the “carbohydrate” source for dinner instead of fat, but you’re more then welcome to have either carbohydrate or fat (depending on your overall health goal(s).

Instead of sweet potato fries, I made 3 slices 3/4 way through, into my sweet potato and placed in microwave for 6-minutes. I let potato cool for a couple minutes before removing potato skin and seasoned with cinnamon.
